about

Hello Body enthusiast today’s music and video was recorded at the Limelight Club Crewe ,England in 1997 which was a good year for the band
“The Body album” was re released on cd for the second time the music magazines and radio stations were showing a renewed interest in the band so we decided to get back on the road and do some gigs to promote the album
It was good to have Tony (Alliston) back in the band along with new member John (Owen )on Bass guitar
John was a brilliant musician and a lovely person he complimented the band so well John had a impressive musical background amazing feel and technique to match, he learnt his trade playing in lots of various bands during the swinging 60’s in London. He could play any style with conviction from prog bass player with Pete Bardens “Camel” to soul man with Tamla Motown star “Edwin Star”
John and I had been working together as a rhythm section with another band so it was great to bring him on board as our new bass man
Barry (Wycherley)was now incorporating acoustic guitar and John (Bleasdale ) had added a wave station to his arsenal of keyboards we were now a five piece and started rehearsing with a new vigour
While rehearsing tracks off”The Body album”we started writing new material “Kula body” was one of the first songs we wrote together (a homage to Prog bands and album titles) we incorporated that into the “Sun will never shine on”which was the opening track on “The Body album” this became the opener for our live shows
The video was recorded by Keith J who was a fan of the band it is not the greatest of qualities so I suggest you watch it on a smaller screen hope you enjoy the two songs please like and share👍 until the next time take care love and peace ✌️
